We went out for a random drive down the A1M to south mimms, upon arriving we stumbled across a couple of guys with a nice TD06 powered MR2 and a soarer. We had a chat to them for a while and I decided to crack out the camera for an impromptu photo session.

It was night, cold and I had no tripod, but you can check the results in my gallery here. I need to do some more night shots!

Had the S13 mapped at FC Tuning and made 280bhp, but with more to come!

The S13 finally hit the roads for the first time in.. about two years! Having got it insured, taxed and MOT’ed the last thing was to actually drive it!!

Took it out for a spin locally last night and all appeared to be going well, making about 10psi at the moment according to the AVCR which is yet to be set up. The Apex coilovers feel very solid, but pretty comfy at the same time. I went for 6/5 springs as opposed to the harder 8/6.

Tracking and a full alignment won’t go a miss, but until I get smaller tyres on the front it will do.

The real test came today, driving to Cambridge and back (with Joe’s 180, and GK’s RX7), while not a massive disctance it was a nerveous drive none the less due to the period of time it has been off the road.
Verdict? I am very very happy, the old beast performed perfectly didn’t miss a beat and was a thrill to drive.

Can’t wait to get it set up properly!!

Well, heres a nice surprise! A friend has just purchased this top secret tuned RX7 FC, as previously owned by Daijiro Inada of Option (need to double check I got the right guy!).

The car was used as a road car, set up with Kei office coilovers, basic engine mods and Bomex body kit.
It’s an awesome car, feels very well set up and planted, and looks incredible. The 18″ Adavn RG’s really work, and the colour just sets the whole car off.
